Multi-engine Pilot (MEL)
Multi-engine Pilot – Students prepare to operate multi engine airplanes in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC), allowing the pilot to fly a multi-engine airplane for hire. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, students receive the required endorsements to take the FAA exams for a multi-engine rating. Students must hold a commercial pilot license with an instrument rating to enroll.
The Training – Course completion is scheduled for approximately 35 contact hours, which includes 17 hours of classroom instruction, 23 hours of flight instruction, and 17 hours of logged flight time.
