Instrument Pilot (INST)
Instrument Pilot – Students prepare to operate single engine airplanes, using flight instrument references, allowing the pilot to fly an airplane in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) for private and business use. Upon satisfactory completion, students receive the required endorsements to take the FAA exams for an instrument rating. Students must hold a private pilot license to enroll.
The Training – Course completion is scheduled for approximately 107contact hours, which includes 46 hours of classroom instruction, 61hours of flight instruction, and 49 hours of logged flight time.
