Flight Instructor (CFI)
Flight Instructor – Students prepare to provide flight instruction services, allowing the pilot to provide flight instruction to students and pilots and charge for the instruction and pilot services. Upon satisfactory completion of the training assignments, students receive the required endorsements to take the FAA exams for a certified flight instructor rating. Students must have a current commercial pilot license to enroll.
The Training – Course completion is scheduled for approximately 72 contact hours, which includes 39 hours of classroom instruction, 33 hours of flight instruction, and 25 hours of logged flight time.
